Getting Started

After moving to Calgary, our founder Chris began contracting custom cabinetry as a way to combine his creative & constructive talents.

New Partners!

Mergem Cabinetry is formed and partners with Molineux Developments, a locally renowned architecture firm known for highly custom projects.

More Space

As Mergem grew, we opened a workshop & showroom in the Foothills Industrial Complex and invested in new machinery to keep up with our growing presence in the high-end market.

Multi Unit Scale

Renowned for our problem solving capabilities and coordination, Mergem is approached to handle the millwork and countertops of all 33 units at Nuvo Hotel on 12Ave, SW, Calgary. We personally selected and visited factories in China, overseeing design, manufacturing and quality standards.

Scaling Supply Networks

Realizing the importance of direct-to-manufacturer supply networks, we continued expanding overseas partnerships in China and Europe over many years of projects.

Moving Locations

Our identity of a small, specialized firm began fading. In a restructure, Mergem moved to our present location beside DeerFoot City, Calgary. Back to a small and efficient space for custom project efficiency, Mergem handled large projects through warehouses when needed.

Design Software

Working with design firms, we saw the power of realistic visualizations software provided and began offering it ourselves!

Machinery Updates

Rather than automated factory CNC machines, Mergem opted for high-end man operated equipment. This retained our capability to construct complex designs while incorporating competitive precision & quality that modern machines offer.

New Product Lines

This year we are planning a decorative home product line and a modern design & material catalog, inspired by trends in Europe & Asia.
